Holland has been a place to one of the oldest apartments around. Currently, quite a few projects has been en-bloc and holland village itself is under going a whole new transformation. This will help to bring back new life to the area. There will also be new housing options for new home owners and investors. This will help to cater more units for tenants as well.
Holland Village comes with a long history. The site itself houses a 24hr supermarket, multiple restaurants of different cuisines, a banking hub and cafes for night life.
Holland village will have a brand new concept. It will have parks, greenery, pedestrian networks, covered walkways, shopping malls. Pedestrian networks will remain open 24/7. There will be bridges to Hill Park.
The public spaces in holland village will be used for formal and informal activities. As such, there will be sufficient public seating all around the area. The best part about Holland Village is that there will be no fencing in its perimeter.
The land in Holland Village are being split into different zones. These zone have different height restrictions. Hence, it will help to improve airflow in the whole area. Approx 53,000sqm of land has been set aside for reformation. We will have a mixture of residential and commercial units. 30% of area will be set aside for greenery.
There will be sufficient bicycle parking and vehicular access. Previously, there is a tendency of traffic jams around Holland Village. Hence, it is in the plan to widen Lorong Liput road to 9.6m. There is a proposed construction of 26.2m road connecting Holland Drive and Holland Avenue. In terms for drainages, there will be a construction of 400m sewers.
